stage2screen saw the necessity for a drama school to look beyond the regular pattern of teaching drama to young people. Our aim is to inspire & nurture our student's imagination to help them grow as actors in a safe & fun environment. Our tutors have written, produced & directed successful stage productions in Sydney & have made short films, television pilots & internet promotions throughout Sydney & internationally for both educational & private institutions. All tutors employed by stage2screen are professional actors, performers, film makers & directors currently working in the entertainment industry & all hold the required current New Working With Children Check. stage2screen Oscar awards are presented to the most outstanding junior and senior students. The final 4th term of the year culminates in a gala red carpet event, the Oscar Awards Showcase, where family and friends are invited to attend & view the student’s best work on the big screen. Our classes provide a foundation in confidence, creativity, presence & technique for young people interested in performing on stage or in front of the camera. Students can experience the magic of Harry Potter, what it is like to fly like Superman, present the weather and much more. Green Screen technology is the basis of the effects seen in everything from the latest Hollywood blockbusters to the weather forecasts. So much more than your regular drama school, stage2screen is unique in that it incorporates Green Screen Technology & CGI Special Effects within the film and acting for camera unit.
